I’ve said before and I’ll say again – everything happens for a reason, and everything happens when it’s supposed to. Everything and everyone comes into our life when they’re intended to, and not a moment sooner. The things that fail? They fail for a reason. The people that walk away, or force you to cut ties? Again, there’s a reason for that. Because eventually, what’s meant for you will be your reality, and those things and people that are no longer in your life aren’t meant to be a part of that. Maybe they were meant to teach you a lesson. . . Maybe they were there to show you how to appreciate the good when it finally comes your way. And when something blind sides you, when something comes out of left field that you didn’t see coming – good or bad – roll with it. Because while maybe you weren’t anticipating it, and maybe this change wasn’t something you could foresee, it’s undoubtedly a part of your story. The bad is teaching you. The good is showing you that you’re on the right path.

If you do nothing else in 2020, make sure that you let go of the things and people not meant for you, and allow yourself to grow. Love who and what you have while you have it, and don’t be afraid to acknowledge it. When it’s time to move forward, don’t hesitate. Try not to question too much – follow your heart, your gut, your head. Gut instinct will get you far, being smart about your next move will make the journey easier, and your heart will give you strength and faith when the path looks a little rough. Believe in yourself, and believe that you are where your supposed to be, and you’ll end up where you’re supposed to end up. Let go of the past – it’s over. Don’t let what happened before keep you from enjoying what’s happening right now. The biggest thing I’ve learned about life is that you don’t know what the next moment is going to bring. And that’s okay. Because the unknown is part of the journey that you can’t escape. May as well embrace it.

And trust that you can achieve what you want, it’s all with in your reach – with the right mind set.

Happy New Year, folks. Don’t be afraid to embrace the unknown. You never know the joy it could bring you.
