Checking In

It’s been almost a month since I’ve written anything and I’m feeling the itch. My day to day just hasn’t allowed me time to write, however.

A lot has happened this month. Illness and injury has struck my small family, I got a promotion at work, and the apartment rental business is booming this time of year anyway. I attended a phenomenal concert and my gardens are producing beautifully and I’ve been reading a lot. Matt officially became a teenager and instead of gifts he’s getting tickets to see Lynyrd Skynyrd and go to the Henry Ford Museum. I’ve been awful social, as well. I have a lot to be thankful for and my writing material bank is filling up. So when things calm down, there’s no doubt I will blow up your feed with my thoughts on the summer months. For now, please know that all is well and I haven’t stopped thinking about words to put down. ❤

Single mother to two amazing boys, sister to an inspiration, and the daughter of two opinionated, sarcastic, fun loving individuals that are no longer physically with us. Music, writing, reading, my family - living and gone - are what keep me going as I put on my rose colored glasses and navigate us through this crazy world.
