To Dos

I haven’t written in a couple days. I’ve been doing the whole living life thing. There’s been drama, and boo boos and wet beds and pissed off residents. There’s been meetings and lunches and paperwork. There’s been to do lists and homework and baths and teaching my oldest about tact – he got pissed off at his grandmother for picking him up from the bus stop and told her she shouldn’t have bothered – and books read. I’ve spent a lot of time listening to music and working more on my bullet journal and doing yoga. There was a lot of rain here, and I spent the majority of the last two days holed up in my office drinking coffee and knocking out my work to-dos. I’m always busy with something unless I’m asleep.

The company I work for observes Jewish holidays, so I have the next four days off, paid. It will be spent at the Social Security office for my brother and grocery shopping and planning for the next couple weeks. I have a concert to attend with Dorothy, which I’m super excited for. I will be tagging along with another friend (we’ll call her Sophia) for some wedding planning, Lego Ninjago comes out this weekend and the boys and I also plan to attend the fair in my hometown. Lots of writing material.

I haven’t started on my book yet, in case you are curious.

Just checking in. Back to those lists. Happy Wednesday!

Single mother to two amazing boys, sister to an inspiration, and the daughter of two opinionated, sarcastic, fun loving individuals that are no longer physically with us. Music, writing, reading, my family - living and gone - are what keep me going as I put on my rose colored glasses and navigate us through this crazy world.
