I spent yesterday doing next to nothing. I read; I took a nap; I played with my kids; I worked on my new bullet journal; I also talked on the phone with a few friends. I did also go to the store and gas station, and I did make dinner and clean up the kitchen. I picked up my room as well because I cannot relax in a messy room. I spent 75% of my day in yoga pants and an old t-shirt, I did not do my hair nor did I put makeup on. If you’ve been reading for awhile or know me at all, you know this is very uncharacteristic of me.
Sometimes I just need to shut down and breathe. Just take a day and enjoy it and not think about the to do lists or requirements and hecticness of my life.
Today I feel better. I’ve already started multiple things on my to do list. I feel energized and ready to conquer the world. I’m back to feeling like my awesome self.
I don’t have much more to say other than that. Sometimes you just need a lazy day to cure the overwhelming feeling of go go go.

Definitely! I’m not a very artistic person so mine is simple, but somehow just the act of planning out my week is soothing.
