I can describe my life pretty simply. I am a single mother to two awesome boys, 8 and 14. My parents have both passed and it’s now my “job” to help guide my autistic brother through life. Job in quotations because I wouldn’t have it any other way. I also work full time. So, my life is crazy and hectic. And it couldn’t be more real than this, as I try to balance my job, my kids, my responsibilities, and finding out just exactly who I am. A friend suggested I make a blog. And it’s something I’ve thought about doing because I’ve been a very wordy person and enjoyed writing for as long as I can remember. I refuse to mince words here – I don’t in real life, and I want this to be as true to my actual voice as possible. The picture that accompanies this page is what my life is all about. Sometimes it’s cut and dried and black and white – these are the facts. And sometimes it’s so bright and colorful that I can hardly stand it. Love and joy or sadness and pain, hardship or storm, I make the best of it always and remember that these people are why I live, I breath, and I love.
